  2. Thanks  for  trying  THE  Amiga Spreadsheet.  If you
  3. have never used one before let me explain how to get
  4. started.  Of course to get the best out of a program
  5. as  complicated as EasyCalc WILL require you to read
  6. the doc file sooner or later.

  8. Enter a number by moving the cursor (with the cursor
  9. keys) to the required cell, then type the number in.
  10. Press return and the number will appear in the cell.
  11.  
  12. The same procedure can be used to enter some text.
  13.  
  14. Formulars  are  more  complicated.   But  to get you
  15. started:
  16.  
  17. All  formulars  start with the "=" sign.  Just press
  18. it then enter:  10+2 and the answer 12 should appear
  19. in the cell.  You can use all the standard operators
  20. that  a  calculator  has  (+-*/).  If you want to do
  21. something  more  usefull  then  adding two constants
  22. together  then try this:  Move the cursor to cell B6
  23. (the cell reference appears in the top left corner),
  24. then  enter  the  number  56.  Move the cursor to an
  25. empty  cell  and  type  =10+B6.   The number 66 will
  26. appear.   Now  you can perform calculations on other
  27. cells.

  29. That should be enough to get you going - now load up
  30. the .doc file and learn what EasyCalc can REALLY do!
